Kenwood capital management is established to manage long-term capital with the goal of delivering sustainable value and security for its American stakeholders. To enable this, the U.S. government introduced a unique governance structure that empowers Kenwood Investments to operate as a professional investment organization with a clear commercial, investment-only mandate.

Under the Kenwood Act, the assets under management are overseen with a commitment to serve the broader economic interest of the United States and its financial participants. These assets are strictly separated from government operating funds, ensuring integrity and transparency.

The Act provides strong protections against political interference. Kenwood Investments operates at arm’s length from the U.S. government and is overseen by an independent, highly experienced Board of Directors. The management team reports directly to this Board — not to the government — ensuring independent decision-making in investment strategies and operational matters.

The Kenwood Act ensures that both the Board of Directors and management are accountable through a robust public accountability framework, including reporting obligations to the U.S. Treasury Department as part of its financial oversight role.
